my list of christmas jobs are slowly decreasing. presents nearly brought, truffles made, christmas tree up and decorated and cards all delivered. its hard to believe that this time next week will be christmas day. our day will begin with our 'tradition' breakfast with pancakes and fruit, coffee and whatever else people desire. my uncle jeremy makes the crepe mix and brings them to us to make. its a pretty stress free event with whoever wants to come. then this year we will have a quiet day then an evening meal on the bbq. kebabs, new potatoes and salad- easy. mum is making a dessert this year so who knows what that will be, a surprise. it is funny how when you grow up and the fantasy of christmas is no longer, christmas really just becomes another day with family and presents added. maybe it is my frame of mind and struggle at the moment which makes it hard to get enthusiastic about celebrating. i really wish that was different as i use to LOVE christmas and all its preparation and hype. maybe next year aye.
