and here is me thinking that when i got home and had little to do that i would do some more craft and sewing. well i haven't... unless you call ironing some tops you made crafty?? i just haven't felt like it at all. maybe it is the better weather? yesterday i had a day in wellington at short notice so i looked around some of my favourite stores and discovered a few more new ones. madeit and the pop up shop were the two i have not seen before, they were pretty cool. my old favourites- swonderful, madam fancy pants, small acorns and minerva are still going strong. thank god for wellington and it's craft and design scene- something dunedin is certainly lacking in!
a new english magazine i discovered called mollie makes is very cool and kind of like a craft version of frankie. it has some great free patterns and stories about crafters. also some good links and websites in their directory.
as for now i will try and get more enthusiastic about doing some sewing!
