today i spent a few hours at artsenta in a jewellery class with a lady called kari. it is an open class with no set structure so you can do what you like. as i am working with my bone and applying a pattern i had to leave it to dry for most of the session. so while i waited i started doing some moulding using pewter- not that easy. but i made a mould of a button which semi worked out. i want to give it another go, so this week i will look around for something that i can mould and make. artsenta is a pretty amazing place as everything you use is free, the tutors are friendly and the space is huge. there are also some incredibly creative and artistic people. i've got my bone with me today so i can sand it tomorrow- i couldn't wait until next class to do it. so i'll let you know how it goes!
