baked apples

baked apples are one of my favourite fruit desserts served with a good amount of custard or cream. tonight i decided that it would be perfect to make one for pudding.... since the oven was on and i have lots of apples spare. what i do to make it is take out the core- fill with raisins, brown sugar, ginger, cinnnamon and a little knob on butter for the top. then i wrap it in tinfoil and place in the oven and bake until soft- approx. 45 mins. once ready serve with custard mmm

I just have to say that along with this yummy pudding, I made a delicious meal too. Couscous made with chicken stock, roast pumpkin with garlic, minted peas with cumin seasoned chicken bites on top- amazing!
