salmon, my friend

on tuesday night i cooked a steak of salmon. delicious. mum treated me to a piece, as it was my first ever experience of cooking a steak of salmon i was slightly unsure the best way to do it. after ready annabelle laingbeins best of recipe book, i decided to bake it with fennel and lemon. as i found this was the perfect way to do it. served with brown rice and fresh garden veges.

after 19 months of having hospital cooked meals, it is nice to be able to experiment again. tonight its fresh tomato sauce with olives and cheese with pasta.

I have just had my second attempt at cooking salmon and it was beautiful. It fell away from the bone and tasted delicious! Sweet Chilli and lemon flash roasted Salmon- my new favourite!
