today i made some rolly date scones for a change. they were very easy and tasted pretty good. all i did that was different from a normal scone recipe (we use peta mathias's fathers recipe). in a little pot put halved dates with some vanilla and cinnamon, then cover with boiling water. make the scone mix then rolled out, spread with the datey mix and roll up. bake as usual, easy.
