i have developed a love for salmon- whether it is smoked, steamed or raw, i love it! this is one of jamie's xmas ideas using fresh salmon. smoked salmon, horseradish and cress toasts. maybe something i might need to try. the best voted horseradish is mandy's horseradish, so a spread of that with some regal wood smoked salmon sounds good. in dunedin the two best salmon dishes are at the good oil and savoury japan.

the otago farmers market sells whole fresh salmons for $20 which seems a steal as a good bit in the supermarket costs that. i've always tried to think of a way to buy one but it seems to difficult, so i'll leave it for the experts.
