after a pleasant day out i returned to the ranch and it was utter chaos. so i am feeling a little worse for wear, especially after using the communal iron which ruined my QUILT! that will be the last time i iron here. all i have to do is hold myself together until tomorrow when i can get into the fresh air and drink coffee.....

have you tried putting some wax paper on the stain and then ironing over it on a low heat?
nothing will work- the material is burnt!!
