in the garden

maybe one of the best things about the garden at this time of the year when it is battled with frosts, rain and cold temperatures are the camellias which come out. as i look out the window or pop up to nana i see a little bit of colour here and there amongst the browns and greens. this time of year is a bit depressing in the garden as the feijoias have stopped, there isn't a lot in the vege garden and most plants are at their weakest. i guess it won't be long until spring starts showing as we have passed the shortest day. i look forward to that as i miss the variety of flowers to pick and arrange when the day doesn't feel so good. so any way for now i will work with what i've got.
